Project Engineer – Solar (PV) Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join a leading international provider of photovoltaic (PV) solutions. The role is remote‑based in Italy, with frequent on‑site visits across the country to ensure high‑quality PV installations and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site project management tasks such as material inspection, technical briefings, installation training, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance for bracket installation, monitor progress and resolve installation challenges together with clients and installation teams.
• Collaborate with project managers to guarantee installation quality and act on feedback promptly.
• Coordinate material transfers to sites, support delivery inspections and assist in resolving financial aspects of projects.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, understand their requirements and execute on‑site debugging and acceptance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with office software and strong command of English.
• Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, excellent communication and coordination skills, adaptability and resilience under pressure.
• Willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods.
