Project Manager – Construction Machinery

About the role

DTG Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, engineering, procurement, delivery and assembly of complex construction machinery for civil‑works projects worldwide. The role focuses on DEAL’s high‑value machinery solutions and requires coordination across multiple internal and external teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept through to on‑site assembly and commissioning.
• Coordinate internal engineering, equipment suppliers, fabrication partners and logistics providers.
• Develop and control detailed project plans, budgets and schedules.
• Ensure designs meet technical standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee procurement, delivery of components and on‑site installation activities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, resolving technical issues promptly.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular reporting.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols throughout the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience with construction machinery or large mechanical/equipment systems, preferably in civil‑works or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of engineering design, manufacturing processes and heavy‑machinery assembly.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and contractual attention to detail.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
