Project Manager – Superyacht Refits & New Builds

About the role

The Project Manager will act as the owner’s technical expert and representative for superyacht refit and new‑build projects, providing technical advice, negotiating with stakeholders and delivering regular progress feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the owner with shipyards, designers, contractors and classification societies.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, industry regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and alignment.
• Lead the project management team, including interior project manager, project engineer, surveyor and consultants.
• Report regularly to the client on status, risks and milestones.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and quality‑control assessments.
• Manage scope changes, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Participate in FAT, HAT, SAT, delivery procedures and final acceptance processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven project‑management experience in the yachting or maritime sector.
• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
