Project Services Manager – Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Services Manager to lead support functions for a major offshore oil and gas project. Based in Milan, the role requires coordinating cost control, planning, procurement, logistics, document control and administration to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project services activities across engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases.
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, integrate contractor timelines and monitor progress.
• Support procurement teams, administer contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate logistics for personnel, equipment and materials to offshore and on‑shore sites.
• Maintain document control processes and produce regular project reports.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project services or project controls.
• At least 5 years of offshore experience, with 3‑5 recent years on offshore projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
