Property Risk Engineer – Graduate Programme (Hybrid, Milan)

About the role

Risk Consulting, part of Marsh Risk, is looking for a recent graduate to join its Property Risk Consulting team through its Professional Graduate Programme. The role is based in Milan and is hybrid. As a Risk Consultant in the Property team, you will support clients in identifying, analysing and mitigating risks affecting their production, logistics and commercial facilities, visiting sites and applying technical skills to reduce the chance of fire, natural disasters, explosions and machinery breakdowns causing property damage.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out on-site property risk assessments covering fire, explosion, theft and catastrophic natural events
• Support property-related insurance and risk transfer activities
• Propose practical loss prevention solutions and define loss prevention plans in line with international standards and local regulations
• Analyse and review fire protection projects, sprinkler systems, technical specifications and hydraulic calculations
• Assess business interruption risks and help clients prepare for critical events or asset loss
• Work on special projects such as extreme natural events and machinery breakdown analysis

Required profile

• University Master's degree in Engineering
• Fluent Italian and English
• Advanced use of main IT tools, especially Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel for short business trips in Italy
• Valid driving licence (B)
