Public Relations Executive (Remote, Italy)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Public Relations Executive to raise the profile of SmartBuyGlasses across fashion, lifestyle and business media. Working remotely from Italy, you will collaborate directly with the Global Head of Organic Marketing and the founding team to craft and execute PR strategies that drive brand awareness and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch journalists and secure coverage in tier‑1 fashion, lifestyle and business publications.
• Write and distribute press releases, maintain journalist relationships and ensure brand storytelling consistency.
• Support and manage the Brand Ambassador programme, including outreach, briefing and relationship upkeep.
• Develop partnerships with sports teams, NGOs, cultural institutions and house‑brand collaborations.
• Expand earned media footprint to niche authority sites, podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, TV and print.
• Coordinate with Social and Influencer leads to translate influencer reach into PR impact.
• Maintain the editorial calendar, track coverage metrics and report performance.
• Run rapid experiments on content formats and discontinue ineffective tactics.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on PR, brand or partnership experience in consumer, fashion, lifestyle or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes through media coverage.
• Alignment with core values: passionate, entrepreneurial, smart, collaborative and caring.
• Growth mindset with a bias toward action and ability to work autonomously.
