Public Relations Manager – Luxury Alpine Resort

About the role

As the Public Relations Manager for Mandarin Oriental Cristallo in Cortina, you will lead the development and execution of the resort’s PR strategy throughout the pre‑opening phase and into ongoing operations. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will shape the brand narrative, build media and influencer relationships, and ensure consistent, high‑impact communication that positions the property as a premier luxury alpine destination.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement the pre‑opening PR strategy in collaboration with corporate communications.
• Generate awareness and excitement for the resort launch through targeted media outreach and storytelling.
• Create and maintain press kits, fact sheets, biographies, and other media assets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Italian and international luxury travel editors, journalists, influencers, and opinion leaders.
• Coordinate media visits, influencer stays, familiarisation trips, interviews, and press events.
• Manage press releases, announcements, and ongoing communications to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations, preferably within luxury hospitality or high‑end resort environments.
• Strong storytelling ability and media‑relations expertise.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with marketing and corporate communications teams.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian media landscape is a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity, respect for colleagues, and a growth‑mindset orientation.
