PV & BESS Service Partner Manager

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a PV & BESS Service Partner Manager to lead the coordination of operation and maintenance (O&M) activities for data‑center power supply, EV charging, photovoltaic (PV) and utility‑scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Milan, Italy. The role bridges internal technical teams, external vendors and service partners to deliver reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate O&M bidding processes, gather customer requirements and prepare BOQ, technical and commercial documentation.
• Perform technical and economic evaluation of service‑partner proposals, supporting management decisions on cost, risk and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and customer requirements throughout acceptance and payment phases.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to develop executable, competitive service solutions.
• Monitor budgets for service‑partner activities, controlling revenue and costs associated with O&M services.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in O&M services for at least one of the following: UPS and battery systems, EV charging infrastructure, PV plants, or utility‑scale BESS.
• Experience in O&M tendering, bid preparation and creation of technical/commercial documentation.
• Ability to evaluate technical and commercial proposals from service partners and subcontractors.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
