Quality Control Engineer – Electrical/Electronic Components

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer will report to the Quality Manager and support the plant’s Quality department. The role focuses on acceptance testing of electrical, electromechanical and electronic components, handling product complaints, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support all activities related to the plant’s Quality department.
• Perform acceptance controls on electrical, electromechanical and electronic components.
• Assist in product problem solving and manage customer complaints.
• Analyze causes of product defects and define improvement and preventive actions in collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing.
• Analyze call‑rate data, suggest improvement actions and follow up on implementation.
• Prepare reports on problem‑solving issues and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Participate in developing quality performance reporting systems using KPIs.
• Analyze process scrap and rework, identify action plans to reduce them.

Required profile

• High school diploma in electric/electronics.
• 5–7 years of experience in quality control or related field (advantageous).
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Team‑player attitude, flexibility and proactivity.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
