Quality Control Manager – Pharmaceutical Site (Northern Italy)

About the role

We are supporting an international pharmaceutical group in finding a Quality Control Manager for its Northern Italy site. The role combines scientific expertise with strong leadership to drive the QC function across chemical, microbiological, analytical and validation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, structure and manage the overall Quality Control function.
• Oversee chemical, microbiological, analytical and validation QC activities.
• Ensure full compliance with GMP and international regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop a large QC team.
• Support product development, technology transfer and manufacturing projects.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and a strong quality culture.
• Collaborate with internal and international stakeholders across the group.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong technical credibility in QC processes.
• Ability to work in an international, cross‑functional environment.
