Quality Control Specialist – Cosmetics

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join KIKO MILANO’s Technical Department in Pognano, reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator. The role ensures that cosmetic bulk submissions and finished goods meet functional and aesthetic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate cosmetic bulk submissions for compliance.
• Plan, manage and perform statistical quality controls on finished goods and accessories according to AQLO.
• Manage supplier non‑compliances and engage suppliers on corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct root‑cause analysis and propose corrective measures.
• Support the QA team in handling customer quality complaints.
• Maintain proper storage of standard samples and technical data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in cosmetic quality control.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of primary and secondary packaging (glass, plastic, aluminium, paper)
• Statistical quality control methods
• Use of common measurement tools
• Basic SAP knowledge (optional)
