Quality Engineer

About the role

Henkel is looking for a Quality Engineer to support daily Quality Assurance activities at its Adhesive Technologies plant. You will help drive quality improvement programs, investigate non‑conformities, and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily QA activities and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Investigate internal non‑conformities and customer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and define corrective actions.
• Lead product and quality reviews, support process optimisation and risk assessments (PFMEA).
• Manage Change, deliver quality training, and maintain the plant’s quality management system.
• Support IATF 16949 certification, review customer quality agreements, PPAP, and organise customer and internal audits.
• Monitor compliance with internal and external standards and assist with external certifications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar quality role, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.
• Fluency in English and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Result‑oriented, well‑organized and proactive.
