Quality Manager – Airport Operations

About the role

dnata is seeking a Quality Manager to lead certification and compliance across its airport operations in Italy. Based in either Milan or Rome, you will ensure that all activities meet quality, safety, security and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and implement the Quality Policy across all functions.
• Lead quality assurance and control through audits, inspections, monitoring and process reviews in line with the Global Quality Assurance Audit Programme.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, report outcomes, risks and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage non‑conformities, corrective and preventive actions via dnatahub Issue and Action Management, ensuring timely closure.
• Monitor performance indicators, incidents and trends to drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, security and environmental performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing quality systems, audits and compliance programmes within airport, airline or ground handling operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English and Italian.
• Excellent planning, analytical and time‑management abilities with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and auditing principles.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and industry standards such as ISAGO and ISO.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 certification processes.
