Quality Manager

About the role

The Adler Pelzer Group, a global leader in acoustic and thermal insulation for the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Manager for its Desio plant. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the IATF 16949 quality system, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and enforce IATF 16949 (2016) guidelines and Adler Group quality policies throughout the plant.
• Disseminate the Quality Manual, General Company Procedures, and Plant Operating Procedures.
• Coordinate with departments to integrate specific customer requirements and use tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Analyze internal and customer quality data, report to Plant and Group Quality Managers, and maintain relations with certification bodies.
• Lead quality resources, train staff on adopted quality tools, and monitor data collection and reporting.
• Develop and implement improvement plans, monitor quality and non‑quality costs, and represent the company in customer quality discussions.
• Validate final products against OEM/customer specifications before release.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline.
• 7‑10 years of experience in large manufacturing environments, preferably in the automotive Tier‑1 sector.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and fluency in English.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and leadership abilities.
