About the role

The Quality Plant Manager will lead the quality assurance function for an international industrial company in Avellino. This senior position is responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 and to foster a strong quality culture across the plant.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement a QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and business objectives.
  • Lead internal and external audits, managing relationships with certification bodies.
  • Monitor quality KPIs, drive continuous‑improvement projects and oversee corrective actions.
  • Manage supplier quality, including evaluation, qualification and audits.
  • Control processes, documentation and product quality from incoming material to final release.
  • Promote data‑driven decision‑making using statistical tools.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering and technical teams to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Quality team.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in quality roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Proven leadership, analytical mindset and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
