Regional Market Manager – Italy & Mediterranean

About the role

Zespri is seeking a Regional Market Manager for Italy, Greece and Malta to lead commercial growth in one of its most dynamic markets. Based in Milan and reporting to the Head of Sales Europe, you will own the market agenda, blend strategy with execution, and drive the premium kiwifruit brand forward.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the commercial strategy for Italy & the Mediterranean, identifying growth opportunities and winning tactics.
• Build and deepen strategic partnerships with key customers, distributors and retailers.
• Collaborate with Marketing to elevate the Zespri brand and launch shopper‑focused initiatives.
• Oversee demand planning, pricing, forecasting, promotional investment and performance management.
• Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team while fostering cross‑regional collaboration.
• Champion innovation, challenge the status quo and identify new category‑growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in FMCG, fresh produce or related consumer goods.
• Proven track record in key‑account management, category management, trade marketing or business development.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable commercial plans.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
