Registered General Nurse – Residential Care

About the role

Jewish Care is seeking a compassionate Registered General Nurse to join its residential and nursing homes, providing high‑quality, person‑centred care for older residents within the Jewish community. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to support the physical, emotional, social and psychological wellbeing of each resident.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person‑centred care for residents.
• Monitor health status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Safely administer medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Lead, support and motivate care teams during shifts.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity and high‑quality care standards.
• Provide guidance, supervision and training to colleagues.
• Collaborate with families and external healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMNA.
• Nursing degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a care or clinical setting.
• Experience leading or supporting care teams.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Positive, flexible and team‑focused attitude.
• Experience with older adults or dementia care is desirable.
