Remote Part‑Time Online Pharmacist

About the role

Medestra ® is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its remote team on a part‑time basis. As an Online Pharmacist you will verify electronic prescriptions, provide medication counseling through secure digital channels, and help ensure patient safety in a fully virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate electronic prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
• Provide clear medication counseling to patients and answer provider inquiries via secure messaging or video.
• Maintain accurate medication records and contribute to patient education content.
• Collaborate with internal marketing and healthcare teams to guarantee that all pharmaceutical information used in digital campaigns is compliant and patient‑focused.
• Support quality‑assurance processes and continuous improvement of online pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted pharmacy license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in telepharmacy or remote pharmacy settings, including electronic prescription processing.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and evidence‑based guidelines.
• Familiarity with HIPAA or equivalent privacy regulations and ethical pharmaceutical practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex medication information.
