Retail Mainline Demand Planning Intern

About the role

Join Levi Strauss & Co. as a Retail Mainline Demand Planning Intern in Milan, supporting the pre‑season planning team for both owned‑and‑operated and franchise channels. You will work on data‑driven forecasting, KPI tracking, and insight generation to help shape the upcoming season’s product assortment.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre‑season planning through data analysis, reporting, and implementation of new tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards tracking sell‑in/sell‑out, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and assortment structure.
• Leverage sales, shipment, and store performance data to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with merchandising, retail, franchise, trading, and inventory teams.
• Assist with purchase budget management and assortment architecture reporting.
• Analyze size performance and contribute to retail planning optimization.
• Support execution of key programs such as capsules, agility packs, and collaborations.
• Conduct grading, segmentation, and quantitative analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or other planning tools (a plus).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Interest in the retail and fashion industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
