Retail Trainee – Boutique Operations

About the role

Join the Cartier South‑East Europe Commercial Department as a Retail Trainee in the Rome boutique. You will support the boutique team with daily operational tasks, ensuring an exceptional client experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients, manage waiting times, and guide them to seating or refreshments.
• Inform clients about approximate waiting periods and coordinate with Sales Associates to ensure prompt service.
• Assist Sales Associates with discreet service and transaction‑related tasks, including gift‑wrapping and product handling.
• Coordinate between Sales Associates, Stockists, cashiers, and boutique assistants.
• Support daily boutique operations, including opening/closing set‑up, visual merchandising implementation, and ordering of boutique supplies.
• Maintain boutique cleanliness and presentation standards for windows, counters, and public areas.

Required profile

• Motivated and curious individual eager to gain hands‑on retail experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Team‑player with a proactive mindset, flexibility, and adaptability to a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
