Retail Trainer

About the role

Stone Island is seeking an engaged Retail Trainer to join its Global Retail Team at the Milan headquarters. Reporting to the Retail Training Manager, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that elevate store performance, client experience, and product knowledge across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement global retail training programs aligned with business priorities.
• Deliver face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions for store and regional teams.
• Act as the global reference point for retail training excellence, ensuring consistency while adapting to local needs.
• Coach and support regional trainers, monitoring effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and mystery‑shopping results.
• Support new store openings and key retail projects with tailored training solutions.
• Update training materials using innovative learning approaches and maintain a regular training presence in stores worldwide.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in retail training or learning & development.
• Proven ability to conduct training needs analysis, design curricula, deliver sessions, and follow up on outcomes in an international setting.
• Strong background in retail excellence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and coaching capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with skill to translate data into actionable training initiatives.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
