Runner – Seasonal Position at Lake Como Hotel

About the role

The Lake Como EDITION is seeking a motivated Runner for the 2026 season. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Food & Beverage team by ensuring smooth service flow and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑of‑day closing duties: store reusable items, break down stations, clean equipment, lock refrigerators, restock supplies, turn off lights and secure the premises.
• Set up, stock and maintain work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Inspect and polish china, glass and silverware before use.
• Adhere to all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report incidents promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets.
• Greet guests courteously, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, and support team members to achieve common goals.
• Read and verify information on labels, menus and other printed materials.
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods as required.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift moderate loads for long periods.
• Professional attitude, reliability and willingness to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary €21,555.66 – €22,000 (pro‑rated for seasonal employment).
• 13th and 14th month payments included.
