Sales Area Manager – Industrial Machinery

About the role

Soilmec SpA is looking for a Sales Area Manager to lead direct and indirect sales across a defined geographic territory. The role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets while expanding the customer base for industrial and earth‑moving equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales Department in shaping commercial policies and market‑development actions.
• Develop the sales budget in coordination with Sales Management.
• Conduct competitive analysis and evaluate sales initiatives.
• Manage the assigned area to meet sales and profitability objectives.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits and satisfaction monitoring.
• Identify and acquire new customers, implementing promotional and incentive programs.
• Monitor invoice status, payments, and credit limits for critical customers.
• Develop new dealers, support product range planning, and verify pricing policies.
• Participate in relevant industry trade fairs and prepare travel reports for management.

Required profile

• University degree (technical degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machinery or earth‑moving equipment sales.
• Knowledge of commercial contracts and international payment methods.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Gross annual salary between €45,000 and €65,000, based on experience and responsibility.
