Sales Area Manager – Lombardy Region

About the role

As a Sales Area Manager you will drive sustainable growth for Atlas Copco by promoting our solutions to both new and existing customers across the Lombardy area (Bergamo, Como, Lecco and Sondrio). You will act as the brand ambassador, build strong relationships and work closely with internal teams to deliver high‑quality after‑sales service.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets, delivering both quantitative and qualitative results.
• Prepare accurate activity reports (orders won/lost, follow‑up, funnel process).
• Identify new potential customers and plan relationship‑building activities.
• Manage the territory in line with market‑share and territory‑management objectives.
• Use the company CRM for all activities and enhance business intelligence for the area.
• Stay updated on products and sales strategies through training and technical material.
• Analyse market and competition, propose corrective actions and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Aftermarket Service teams to ensure long‑term customer relationships.
• Participate in special projects such as new product launches and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Self‑managed schedule with frequent visits to current and potential customers.
• Strong ability to prepare and present market analysis and customer visit reports.
• Proactive collaboration with internal support, marketing and after‑sales teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset, proposing solutions to management.

Required skills

• Proficient use of CRM systems.
