Sales & Business Development Representative – Genoa (12‑month FTC)

About the role

Join Deliveroo’s Commercial team in Genoa as a Sales & Business Development Representative. You will be a key driver of the company’s expansion in Italy, focusing on premium restaurant and store partnerships and delivering a world‑class onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic prospecting: map, pitch and close new high‑end restaurants across Genoa, acting as a local food‑scene expert.
• Consultative selling: engage restaurant owners through visits, calls and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology and value.
• Onboarding support: guide partners through the joining process to ensure a smooth transition onto the platform.
• Relationship building: attend local culinary meet‑ups to stay connected with the community and uncover new opportunities.
• Market expertise: use industry knowledge to illustrate how Deliveroo’s products solve real‑world challenges for premium partners.

Required profile

• Significant sales experience with a hunter mindset and a proven track record of closing deals.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to structure successful commercial partnerships.
• Excellent communication confidence when dealing with premium partners face‑to‑face, by phone or email.
• Resilient, motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Understanding of the restaurant industry is a strong plus.
