Sales Director Italy

About the role

Celonis, a platform for industrializing Enterprise AI, is looking for a Sales Director for Italy within its Manufacturing and Retail/CPG sales team. The Sales Director manages a team of Enterprise Account Executives, collaborates with internal stakeholders across direct and indirect sales and senior leaders in value engineering, business development and services, and drives results in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, manage and develop sales talent, drive individual AE success and build a strong team spirit.
• Own and exceed annual sales targets in the assigned territory with accurate forecasting.
• Develop and execute a strategy to acquire new logos and expand the customer base in the assigned segment/industry.
• Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships and proactively manage accounts.
• Support the team in partnering with customers on the ground to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue.
• Communicate Celonis' industry-specific value proposition through proposals and presentations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of strong leadership experience.
• Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven experience working with partners such as consulting firms and enterprise technology companies.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment and to work autonomously.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Italy.
