SCM Specialist – 1-year Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

Join LG Chem Europe GmbH in Milan as an SCM Specialist, managing the end‑to‑end supply chain for the B2B business. This one‑year fixed‑term role focuses on coordinating purchasing, logistics, inventory, and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full supply chain process from purchasing to final customer delivery.
• Maintain and coordinate inventory levels, process delivery orders, and manage inbound/outbound logistics.
• Monitor compliance with warehousing and logistics service contracts.
• Handle transportation chain coordination and logistics cost monitoring.
• Conduct monthly stock analysis, on‑site investigations, and inventory closing.
• Provide customer service, manage complaints, and handle invoicing.
• Collaborate closely with sales, logistics partners, and the head office.
• Process purchase orders, sales invoices, customs clearance, and duty management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Business fluency in English; Italian is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with SAP (ERP) systems preferred.
