Security Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

Join MSC Technology Italy’s Security Operations Center as a Security Analyst. You will protect the company’s information assets by continuously monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to cyber‑threats across a global shipping business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring rapid containment and remediation.
• Manage, administer and optimise security tools such as SIEM, log‑management platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF and NAC solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits and continuous security testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain monitoring use cases, alerts, dashboards, reports and anomaly‑detection capabilities.
• Contribute to secure design and implementation of IT infrastructure, applications and cloud environments by applying security best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Security Operations Center or similar cybersecurity environment.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate incidents and assess vulnerabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and business stakeholders.
