Senior Accountant

About the role

PSA BDP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, collaborate closely with the Finance Manager, and ensure accurate financial reporting for a global logistics and supply‑chain organization.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily finance activities, including communication with banks, customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and produce regular financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements, and other financial accounts for accuracy.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Monitor and plan cash‑flow requirements and manage AR/AP functions.
• Generate balance sheets, income statements, cash‑flow statements, and other statutory reports.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, tax specialists, and banking partners.
• Prepare VAT declarations and ensure compliance with global and local policies.
• Step in for the Finance Manager during absences and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• Higher education in Accounting, Economics, or a related professional qualification.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Fluent English (mandatory).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft AX.
• Experience using Oracle Fusion.
• Familiarity with Qlik for reporting and analytics.
