Senior Fashion Show Designer

About the role

Ermenegildo Zegna is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the creative development of its fashion show collections in Milan. You will work closely with the design team to translate concepts into detailed technical solutions that support seasonal runway presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design team throughout creative research and development phases of seasonal collections.
• Translate creative concepts into sketches, detailed design proposals, and precise technical drawings, including constructions, stitching, patterns, proportions, and graphic details.
• Prepare and update technical documentation covering materials, manufacturing details, finishes, trims, and colour specifications.
• Collaborate with product development and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment between creative vision and product execution.
• Assist during fittings, styling reviews, photoshoots, and runway‑related activities as required.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and evolution of the collection with a strong focus on quality and innovation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Designer in luxury or contemporary fashion.
• Strong expertise in leatherwear, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
• Experience supporting fashion shows and runway collections.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop.
• Advanced knowledge of Illustrator.
• Advanced knowledge of InDesign.
• Excellent sketching and technical drawing abilities.
