Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing renewable energy platform. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will provide high‑quality financial insight, drive planning and reporting processes, and support strategic decision‑making across multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning across several jurisdictions.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior‑year results.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting and liquidity planning for the group.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, reporting standards and internal controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional partners.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting and controls.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior controlling role.
• Strong understanding of management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in multi‑entity, group or international environments.
• Knowledge of consolidation principles and intercompany transactions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior leadership.
• Track record of driving process improvements and enhancing reporting capabilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with high autonomy and accountability.
• Fluency in English.
