Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a multinational industrial manufacturing group. The role will lead month‑end close activities, produce management reports and support strategic financial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end close processes, finalising and analysing accounts each month.
• Prepare and analyse management reports, explaining variances to forecast, budget and prior year.
• Submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial information to the group.
• Develop annual budgets and detailed monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with the broader management team and present financial performance at the monthly Business Unit Review.
• File regulatory financial information such as corporate tax returns, VAT returns, statutory accounts and Intrastat.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, payments and receipts, coordinating with group treasury and banks.
• Maintain and improve the control framework in line with internal audit recommendations.
• Maintain product costings in the ERP system to ensure accurate margin reporting and support pricing decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong knowledge of modern financial management.
• Excellent command of the English language.
