Senior Key Account Lead – Italy

About the role

On is expanding rapidly in Italy and seeks a Senior Key Account Lead to manage its most important retail partnerships. Reporting to the Head of Sales Italy, you will shape the consumer experience of the On brand across top sporting‑goods and lifestyle retailers, driving sustainable growth while protecting the premium positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at key sporting‑goods accounts in Italy.
• Lead seasonal commercial activities, including account planning, assortment strategy, forecasting, target setting and sell‑in execution.
• Identify growth opportunities for performance categories, especially Running, and support initiatives in Lifestyle and Sneaker channels.
• Create and execute Joint Business Plans that deliver long‑term value for On and its retail partners.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product, Marketing and Retail Marketing teams to ensure consumer‑relevant assortments and strong brand visibility.
• Negotiate commercial terms, trading conditions and contracts while ensuring profitable, sustainable growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee product launches, in‑store activations, staff training and seasonal initiatives to protect the brand’s premium integrity.

Required profile

• Deep credibility within performance sports, particularly running.
• Strong understanding of consumer trends, lifestyle retail and sneaker culture.
• Proven experience managing strategic relationships with key retail partners.
• Ability to drive both sell‑in and sell‑out growth while aligning with premium brand positioning.
