Senior Key Account Manager – LEGO Certified Stores (Italy)

About the role

LEGO is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to drive the growth of LEGO Certified Stores across Italy. Based in Milan, you will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with franchise partners, internal sales teams, and retail operators to expand the store network and enhance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the store network development strategy, identifying opportunities based on market potential and brand penetration.
• Own yearly business plans for each store and lead planning meetings with country managers, sales leadership, and operators.
• Build strong relationships with LEGO Certified Store operators and internal collaborators.
• Oversee store opening excellence, rollout of the Store Operating Manual, assortment definition, and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Organise training for store managers to ensure compliance with LEGO standards and track customer satisfaction.
• Guide and support operators in implementing annual marketing activities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a commercial, customer‑facing role such as Key Account Management.
• Deep understanding of retail operations and, ideally, experience in franchise or branded retail environments.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex organisations.
• Excellent intercultural communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Creative problem‑solver able to work under pressure during seasonal peaks.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and internationally (approximately twice a year).
• Fluency in English and Italian.
