Senior Mobile Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to shape the mobile platform of a fast‑growing FinTech unicorn. You will work remotely from Italy, Spain or France, collaborating closely with product leads and the co‑founder CTO to define architecture and roadmap for a consumer‑facing app used by twelve million customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the mobile app architecture, including state management, offline behavior and integration with the GraphQL API layer.
• Implement high‑quality features for the Card, Club and Lending product domains, ensuring PCI‑DSS compliance.
• Collaborate with backend teams (Node.js, AWS, Kafka) to deliver seamless end‑to‑end payment experiences.
• Guide technical decisions for the early‑stage mobile surface and mentor junior engineers.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, preferably in a consumer‑facing FinTech or payments environment.
• Strong track record of building and scaling mobile applications for large user bases.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
