Senior Project Manager – Hybrid (Milan)

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead infrastructure and cloud initiatives for global clients. The position is based in Milan and operates on a hybrid model (three days on‑site per week). You will manage crisis situations, ensure SLA compliance, and drive continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee crisis and process management, maintaining stability of the business unit.
• Lead the run arena covering system administration, storage, and backup services.
• Coordinate with senior business stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Ensure zero escalations and zero surprises for customers.
• Negotiate and manage customer relationships to meet project goals.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, including due diligence, transition, and delivery.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to work flexible shift timings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• VMware virtualization.
• Storage and backup technologies.
• ITIL and Six Sigma knowledge.
• MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Google Cloud platform and cloud project delivery.
