Senior SEO Content Strategist (Fintech & Crypto)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SEO Content Strategist to lead organic growth for a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency platform. Based in Italy, you will own the SEO roadmap, create high‑impact content, and drive measurable conversions across a regulated financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive organic growth strategy, including keyword research, competitive analysis and performance targets.
• Implement technical SEO improvements such as site architecture, crawlability, page‑speed, schema markup, internal linking and Core Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure new product launches follow SEO best practices.
• Manage SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to uncover opportunities and generate actionable insights.
• Create and optimise SEO‑focused content for blogs, landing pages and educational resources.
• Conduct content audits to refresh and consolidate existing assets.
• Lead digital PR campaigns, secure high‑authority backlinks through HARO, Qwoted and similar platforms.
• Monitor backlink profile, domain authority and earned media impact to continuously refine strategies.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of combined SEO and content marketing experience, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency or other regulated financial services.
• Proven track record of increasing organic traffic, improving rankings and driving conversions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic actions.
