Senior Tax and Finance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax and Finance Specialist to join our client’s finance team in Pisa. The role combines comprehensive tax compliance with full‑cycle finance responsibilities, supporting both local operations and international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file corporate income tax, VAT, withholding and other local tax returns, ensuring electronic submission to authorities.
• Manage quarterly tax calculations, tax assets, and coordinate tax audits and appeals.
• Handle international tax matters such as transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements, CbCR and Pillar II projects.
• Maintain tax books, electronic invoicing (SDI) and support Chinese Finance on tax issues.
• Prepare financial statements, notes and manage month‑end accounting closing.
• Coordinate external audits, statutory auditor checks and subsidiary compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, bank liaison and public‑funded project financial reporting.
• Assist with ISTAT questionnaires and other statistical surveys.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a tax specialist within multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of Italian tax legislation and GAAP.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and support cross‑border finance teams.
