Senior Tax Professional – Tax Planning & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Professional to join Iveco Group’s Tax Department. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will play a key role in shaping the Group’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance with Italian and international tax regulations, and supporting major business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the Group’s tax strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze tax implications of corporate transactions, restructurings, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Monitor changes in fiscal legislation, provide interpretations, and propose process improvements to optimise tax management.
• Enhance the Group’s tax reporting framework, governance model and risk management processes.
• Review drivers of the effective tax rate and identify opportunities to optimise the Group’s tax profile.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑7 years of income tax or tax accounting experience in a large multinational or Big 4 environment, with a focus on international taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Italian tax law and ability to interpret national and international regulations.
• Understanding of IAS 12, IFRIC 23, IAS 34 and, alternatively, ASC 740, FIN 48, FIN 18.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law or a relevant Master’s qualification.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
