SEO Expert Lead – Experienced Professional

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Expert Lead to join our Milan office. The role combines strategic planning, technical execution, and client consulting to drive organic performance for national and international brands. You will lead a small team of consultants while collaborating across disciplines in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee SEO strategies aligned with client KPIs and contractual obligations.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of industry trends, competitors, keywords, and technical site health.
• Coordinate a team of 2–3 SEO consultants, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Manage technical SEO issues, pre‑ and post‑launch optimisation for new websites, and ongoing site health monitoring.
• Design and implement link‑building, local SEO (including Google My Business), and video/YouTube optimisation programmes.
• Introduce innovative methodologies, new technology partners, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
• Lead client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and annual performance reviews, ensuring deadlines are met.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably on e‑commerce and multi‑country sites.
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience leading small teams and driving professional development.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on performance and innovation.
