Service Technician – Turbine Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform on‑site maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, supporting our mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions. You will work closely with the Service Coordinator and local operations teams to ensure turbines operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety instructions and work safely with materials and personnel.
• Analyse defects via phone contact with the Service Coordinator.
• Perform autonomous simple repairs, troubleshooting and fault‑finding on turbines.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities together with subcontractors.
• Complete reports and checklists to keep the Local Operation Manager fully informed.
• Check spare‑part inventory and manage on‑site material.
• Monitor booked service reports, steer the service process and ensure expenses are booked correctly.

Required profile

• Electrical and/or mechanical education (hydraulic, electrical or mechanical experience valued but not mandatory).
• Team‑player with a willingness to take responsibility.
• Ready to travel regularly, including overnight stays.
• Computer literate – able to use MS Office and internal databases/workload management systems.
• Willingness to undergo training.
• Ability to work at high altitudes and climb turbines daily.
• Fluent English (read, write, speak).
