About the role

The Shift Engineer is responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance of hotel equipment, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas operate smoothly. Working on a rotating shift schedule, the engineer provides prompt, courteous service while adhering to Four Seasons standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and record preventative maintenance for all mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace components such as motors, starters, circuit breakers, chillers and related systems.
• Respond quickly to guest calls regarding room or public‑area equipment issues.
• Follow emergency procedures for incidents like fire, power failure, or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Fluent Italian; English language skills are a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in Italy.
• Willingness to work full‑time on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
