Site Manager

About the role

DHL is seeking a Site Manager to lead operations at its Piacenza warehouse, located near Mestre, Italy. You will be responsible for overall performance, safety, customer relationships and the continuous improvement of the site.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and plan daily warehouse activities to meet customer requirements.
• Control inbound, outbound, returns and stock flows, ensuring accurate accounting data.
• Take full operational and financial responsibility for a safe, efficient and profitable site.
• Drive standardisation, Lean initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Lead, develop and motivate a large team of 60‑80 employees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers (security, maintenance, infrastructure).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
• Solid experience in logistics or supply‑chain management, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Proven track record in people leadership, union relations and managing large teams.
• Fluent English communication skills.
