Site Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Site Manager to lead the design, construction and hand‑over of renewable energy assets (wind, solar PV, hybrid and storage) in France. The role combines technical support, HSE oversight and coordination with contractors, remote‑operation teams and grid operators to ensure safe, on‑time and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design process of wind, solar PV, hybrid and storage projects, providing technical support from development through construction.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation, company procedures and monitor HSE KPIs with contractors.
• Supervise on‑site activities of main contractors and ancillary services such as security, predictive maintenance, cleaning and road upkeep.
• Coordinate maintenance plans, authorize work execution and optimise operational performance.
• Handle the full contracting flow for complementary services (fiber optics, platform adaptation, sub‑station repairs, etc.) including supplier identification, quotation, negotiation and order management.
• Maintain liaison with EDPR remote‑operation and dispatch centre, as well as with TSO/DSO for grid‑related manoeuvres.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing design and construction of renewable energy projects (wind, solar PV, hybrid, storage) in France.
• Strong knowledge of French HSE regulations and ability to drive HSE initiatives.
• Demonstrated capability to coordinate multiple contractors and service providers.
