Site Reliability Engineering Manager

About the role

CoreView, the global leader in Microsoft 365 tenant resilience, is expanding its engineering organization in Milan. As the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager you will build the SRE team from the ground up, define its processes, and contribute hands‑on to critical Azure infrastructure during the early phase.

Key responsibilities

• Define the SRE team structure, recruit, onboard and mentor engineers.
• Set the technical direction and operational roadmap, aligning reliability goals with product priorities.
• Establish SRE practices such as on‑call rotations, incident management, blameless post‑mortems, and a strong documentation culture.
• Define, track and own SLOs, SLIs and error budgets in partnership with engineering and product teams.
• Design, operate and automate critical Azure infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end incident management: detection, response, escalation, resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Drive automation initiatives, including AI‑assisted operations, to reduce toil.
• Own capacity planning and cloud‑cost governance to ensure scalable, cost‑effective services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations or infrastructure engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate technical teams.
• Strong inclination toward building processes, fostering psychological safety and continuous improvement.
• Hands‑on engineering mindset, especially during team ramp‑up.
