Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our Milano office and act as the main point of contact between the customer site organization, civil works contractors and cable‑laying subcontractors. The role involves overseeing civil works, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), power cable and fiber‑optic (FO) installation, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil works, HDD, cable laying and jointing activities on‑site.
• Serve as interface between civil contractors and cable‑laying subcontractors, planning and checking execution.
• Maintain daily site records (DPR) and complete required checklists and documentation.
• Develop detailed weekly work plans and supervise personnel, assets, logistics and HSE compliance.
• Support preparation of method statements and other technical documents in collaboration with Installation Engineering.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure adherence to internal procedures throughout the project.

Required profile

• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in construction site management, excavation or related activities.
• Willingness to spend up to 70‑75 % of the year abroad on site.
• Valid driving licence and a leadership attitude.
