Social & Digital Specialist

About the role

Join the GCX SEMEA team as a Social & Digital Specialist and help shape the online presence of globally recognised brands such as DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN® and STANLEY®. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with local and central teams to deliver impactful social media campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with global and regional brand plans.
• Manage organic and paid social activities across relevant platforms, incorporating user‑generated content.
• Act as a brand ambassador by engaging audiences, responding to queries and nurturing positive relationships.
• Monitor brand sentiment through social listening and use insights to improve customer experience and acquisition.
• Interpret performance metrics, optimise campaigns and report on results.
• Operate social media tools such as Social Bakers and other approved platforms.
• Collaborate with customer support to resolve service issues raised on social channels.
• Track trends in social, digital and mobile media and contribute innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of major social platforms and experience managing social communities in a corporate setting.
• Experience planning and executing Facebook advertising and broader digital campaigns.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Creative thinking and sound judgement.
