Software Developer II – Backend & Frontend Engineer

About the role

Mistplay is looking for a Software Developer II to help build and scale high‑performance systems for its play‑and‑earn platform and B2B monetisation product, LoyaltyPlay. You will work across backend and frontend layers, collaborating with product, data and design teams to deliver reliable, scalable software that powers a global gaming reward ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend services (C#/.NET) and frontend applications (TypeScript/Lit).
• Implement and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as the core event‑tracking pipeline.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, architecture and delivery plans.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and monitoring.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis and deliver scalable, resilient improvements.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, set engineering standards and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and/or Java, with solid experience building backend services.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL.
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, BigQuery, BigTable).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
