Software Developer – Torino

About the role

Identis, a global leader in secure ID issuance and financial card personalization, is looking for a Software Developer to join its R&D department in Torino. You will design, develop and maintain software applications that support card issuance and secure ID personalization systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for card issuance and personalization software.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate software with physical devices.
• Develop communication interfaces between software and embedded systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in testing, validation, debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and maintain technical documentation.
• Support product releases, software updates and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of English for collaboration with international teams.
