Software Engineer – Autonomous Robotics

About the role

Black Shire is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team developing fully autonomous robotic vehicles. You will work on both cloud‑based microservices and in‑vehicle software, contributing to the core functionality of next‑generation machines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and troubleshoot microservices for autonomous functions and user authentication.
• Implement and maintain in‑vehicle software that controls vehicle‑related functionalities.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensors such as LiDAR, GNSS and cameras.
• Support cross‑compilation workflows and deployment to ARM‑based target platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience with C++ and Python.
• Strong interest or experience in HMI development and full‑stack web development (Django, REST APIs, HTML, CSS).
